Neutering

Our vets and nurses are at hand to discuss neutering, and will offer their expert advice on what they may think is the best option is for you pet.

Neutering is a day procedure, where you pet is dropped to the clinic for their surgery in the morning and collected later that day. A full clinical exam is carried out prior to the surgery. Once the surgery is over, our nurses will update you when your pet is in recovery. Your pet will be sent home with pain relief and a buster collar, to avoid them touching their wound. We ask that your pet is kept as confined as possible for 10 days post surgery, until the stitches are removed. We see our patients back 3 days after surgery for a post-op check. This allows for the vet or nurse to check the wound and for the client to voice any concerns that they may have.

Please contact the clinic to discuss neutering your pet.
